Magic Carpet ride

The Magic Carpet is an expansion of the gigs performed on Stage 2: The Forward Deck.

These are mobile gigs performed away from the permanent studio stages on small rugs placed in the centre of the venue or center of the stage or performance area. If all the equipment is placed on the rug four performers can sit facing the centre of the rug, sitting crossed legged. An ideal situation would be 2 or 3 performers and one spot for passersby to join.

The sounds are collated by the Satellite from around the world, with context provided by photocopied pamphlets.
